Transmitter and antennae
We use Icefield Instruments impulse transmitter hardware for our portable system. Antennae are resistive dipole with custom length matching the system's frequency of interest.
Digitizing hardware
We support the full line of National Instruments digitizers. For lightweight operation NI-5132/33 digitizers were initialy used. After adding support for
Pico 4224 boards (12-bit, up to 80MS/s, 20MHz bandwidth), we currently run on a Pico 4227 board (12-bit, 100MHz bandwidth, up to 250MS/s).

Acquisition, display, powerand data management are done directly within the application. Ice thickness gets profiled in real-time along survey lines.
